Little Chefs
began operations in 1995 when Gail Ginsberg offered her first cooking
classes to children out of the basement of her home.
Gail holds a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education
and a Masters degree in special education and was a teacher for 20 years.
She realized how much children loved to cook, and in turn, that cooking
was an excellent tool for teaching children everyday and math skills.
Shortly after Little Chefs began offering children’s cooking
classes, Gail created a birthday party recipe that was an immediate success.
Families from across Long Island were soon requesting that Little Chefs
put together a fabulous celebration for their children’s birthdays.
In September 2000, Little Chefs opened its first store in Syosset,
New York and in February 2005, its second store in Port Washington, New
York.
In January 2006, Little Chefs put together the perfect ingredients
for a great franchise opportunity and is currently seeking out franchisees
that have a love for children and cooking, are entreprenurial, and will
follow our proven recipe for success.
