Gail holds a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education
and a Masters degree in special education and she was a teacher for 20 years.
She realized how much children loved to cook, and in turn, that cooking
was an excellent tool for teaching children everyday and math skills. Shortly after Little Chefs began offering children’s cooking
classes, Gail created a birthday party recipe that was an immediate success.
Families from across Long Island were soon requesting that Little Chefs
put together a fabulous celebration for their children’s birthdays. Along with customizeable Birthday Parties, Little Chefs also offers Cooking Classes, Holiday Events, Scout Badges and Camp & School Events. In September 2000, Little Chefs opened its first store in Syosset,
New York and in February 2005, its second store in Port Washington, New
York. In January 2006, Little Chefs put together the perfect ingredients
for a great franchise opportunity and is currently seeking out franchisees
that have a love for children and cooking, are entreprenurial, and will
follow our proven recipe for success. |
