Mommy & Me (2 year olds)

Mom and child enjoy an educational experience that focuses on art, movement, snack and story time. Our Little Chefs Mommy and Me cooking class assists your child in the development of language, art and social skills required for them to flourish in nursery school.
Additionally mommies and their Little Chefs will cook delicious meals such as: whole grain pancakes, bear bread with honey butter, and fun shaped pizza and pretzels.

Fairytales & Mother Goose (3 year olds)

Fairytales & Mother Goose is a fairy tale filled hour centered on creative cooking and baking.  It is during this class that our Little Chefs become familiar with all the fairy tales & rhymes our parents and grandparents grew up but they have a gourmet twist, such as:  Little Red Riding Hood with a basket filled with cookies and muffins for grandma or Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star with star soup.

Cooking with Colors, Shapes and Numbers (3 - 4 year olds)

Cooking with Colors, Shapes and Numbers familiarizes your child with the fundamental building blocks inherent for success in today’s early educational system.  Your child will spend one hour each week learning various colors, shapes and numbers through recipes that are focused on baking all sorts of fun-filled pastries, pies, desserts and quiches.  Furthermore, children enrolled in this class will learn to socialize with other children in a group environment, securely express their individual characteristics, and become comfortable without their parents.

Cooking through the Alphabet (4 - 6 year olds)

Cooking through the Alphabet focuses your child’s attention on the letters of the alphabet through the process of letters to form words and words to form paragraphs.  What better way for a child to learn how to spell “apple” and “pie” and “banana” and “bread” then through our “Aa is for Apple Pie” and “Bb is for Banana Bread” cooking class sessions.  In full disclosure, Little Chefs waives any liability for costs related to your child’s subsequent enrollment in any spelling bees.

Cooking & Story-Time (3 - 5 year olds)

During Little Chefs Cooking & Story Time classes your child will cook themselves dinner and will be read a classic story.  It is through legendary stories and fables that children learn lessons of culture, morality, ethics, and right and wrong.  Here, we match stories and foods to reinforce such lessons, such as Red Riding Hood and ginger bread cookies.

Dinner & Desserts (7 – 10 year olds)

Dinner and Desserts is Little Chefs cooking classes for the next Iron Chef.  Here, children will learn how to follow and complete recipes; properly measure ingredients; handle cooking equipment, such as peelers, graters and knives; learn appropriate etiquette; and learn to correctly set a table.  In addition, little chefs enrolled in this class will cook delicious dinners, including Mac & Cheese, Meatloaf, Shrimp Kabobs and Tacos and delicious desserts, including strawberry shortcake, apple pie, brownies, and butterfly cheese cakes.

International Cooking (10 - 14 year olds)

Ten to fourteen year olds travel to a different country each week, cooking up appetizers, main dishes, and desserts in Little Chefs International cooking classes.  It is here that your child will learn about the world’s different cultures, nationalities, and ethnicities; and with the Euro at 1.50, this is the cheapest way to travel the globe.
